Saddle Brook, N.J. – Area and accent rug house Nourison Industries Inc. has promoted Paula Atkins to the account executive post, covering the Georgia and Alabama markets.
Atkins was previously the company’s account executive covering upstate New York and Connecticut, a post she has held for the past four years. Earlier in her career, she worked in various sales and sales management positions at Mohawk Industries.
This week she was transferred to her home state. In her new role, she is responsible for growing Nourison’s business in area rugs, broadloom and roll runners as well as its custom capabilities.
“Paula has been a tremendous asset to Nourison in the Northeast for years now. When an opportunity in the South opened up, we knew instinctively it was a perfect fit,” said Gerard O’Keefe, vp, sales. “She is closer to home, happy and motivated, and certainly understands her home-town market. She is already making an impact on her local customers, many of whom she had a chance to meet and work with at recent markets.”
We would love your feedback!
