Primaloft promotes Gauss

ALBANY, NY —

Albany International Corp. announced the promotion of Christine Gauss to international sales manager.

Gauss was most recently product manager for PrimaLoft Home Furnishings. Albany International is the manufacturer of the down alternative PrimaLoft.

In her new role, Gauss will be responsible for PrimaLoft sales in Europe and Japan, which will include building strategic partnerships with customers and developing new business opportunities. Working with and reporting to Gauss will be Richard Ebert and Alessandro Raimondi, who are based in Munich, Germany, and Milan, Italy, respectively. Gauss will be reporting to Joseph Rumiesz, vp, PrimaLoft and High Performance Materials.
