Nourison ramping up sales force expansion

SADDLE BROOK, NJ —

Area rug supplier Nourison has appointed Rick Mueser as its account executive for western Pennsylvania, western New York and Ohio.

He replaces Rob Kracinovich, who left the company to become a buyer for May Co.

Mueser, who reports to Pat Muschamp, national sales manager, was previously a sales representative for Norwalk, CA-based Mulia Inc., a towel importer.

Mueser's appointment is just the first of several more to be announced in the coming weeks in an effort to expand the company's sales force. Some of those posts will be existing and others will be newly created to better enhance service for major markets.

"We are very much on target with our product mix and our development strategies; we are determined to become increasingly pro-active in our sales and service outreach," Muschamp said.
