ANAHEIM, CA —
Recent additions to Arrow Home Fashions' sales team marked the culmination of a year-long effort to strengthen its marketing and sales force.
"We have been working to add design, sales power and credibility to our team," said Rich Sperber, vp and sales/marketing.
Earlier this month, Arrow hired three sales representatives: Frank Rosen in the Northeast, Mike Haag for the Midwest and Daryl Bash for key accounts. All previously were with Design Works, the former adult bedding division of Crown Crafts.
The company began the process a year ago with the hiring of Monica Lowe-Graves as design director. She had previously designed bedding lines for W.C. Designs. Prior to that, she spent more that 20 years as an apparel designer.
Paul Schmitt joined Arrow in December in the new position of vp of sales, eastern region. Schmitt, a 22-year industry veteran, had previously been vp/national sales manager for Design Works and began his career with Fieldcrest.
The company also hired Jeff Grover as catalog specialist and to cover other major accounts out of Minneapolis. Tony Oster was added in fall 2002 to oversee all West Coast sales. This spring, the company hired Al Sanchez, also formerly Design Works, as the southwestern representative.
"Over the past few months we have been talking to a lot of very good people in our industry, and we have been very fortunate to have attracted a few people who we think can help take Arrow to the next level," said Bob Allen, president and co-principle. "I think we'll have some other exciting announcements to make in the near future concerning the long-term direction of our company."
We would love your feedback!
