Milliken, Claire Murray in licensing deal

LaGrange, GA — Milliken Rugs and Claire Murray have partnered to create a new line of wool rugs.
The Milliken Claire Murray Wool Collection is a machine-made line launched at the Atlanta International Area Rug market Thursday night with 10 botanical and Cape Cod-inspired designs by Murray. A 5'7" x 7'8" is set to retail for $349.
The collection marks milestones for both companies. It is the first licensed program for Milliken Rugs and the first licensed program in area rugs for Claire Murray.
Murray told HTT that the collection "is a real departure for me." It targets a more mass audience than Murray's typical customer, including upscale boutiques, department and specialty stores and catalogs.
