Dalton, Ga. – Designer alumnus of “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” Thom Filicia teamed up with rug resource Karastan and co-sponsor Wear-Dated Carpet Fiber to host Decorating From the Floor Up seminars at the Field Museum in Chicago and the JKF Library in Boston this month.
A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure anti-cancer charity.
Each venue provided a memorable backdrop for the educational, entertaining, and interactive events. Filicia now hosts his own show, “Dress My Nest,” on the Style Network.
Karastan said it will host two more Filicia seminars this fall, with locations to be determined. In the meantime, his decorating tips are featured on www.karastan.com.
We would love your feedback!
