Group 3 taps beefs up Cannon, Royal Velvet teams

NEW YORK — Group 3 Design, brand manager for the Cannon and Royal Velvet licenses, has hired Paula Zanger has as design director for the Royal Velvet Brand and Joelle Santaniello design director for the Cannon and Cannon Royal Family brands.

Both will originate and present the central creative vision of their respective brands for color, design and trends across the spectrum of products and categories to be produced by licensees of the brand.

Zanger’s credentials include creating collections in bed and bath, dinnerware, wall coverings, fine china, decorative fabrics and licensed stationery. Her work has been produced for her own label as well as under license to companies including Sasaki, Rosenthal, P.Kaufmann, Imperial Wallcoverings, Sakura, C.R. Gibson, WestPoint Stevens, Springs and ABC Carpet & Home.

Santaniello previously worked as a design manager for Waverly, Inc.'s licensing division, before which she spent over three months traveling the islands of the South Pacific.

Zanger reports to John Hall, vice president of brand development for the Royal Velvet Brand at Group 3 Design. Santaniello reports to Amy Rosenblatt, vice president of brand development at Group 3 Design.
