Price joins J. L. DeBall Canada

HIGH POINT, NC — Peter Price has joined J. L. DeBall Canada as vp, sales and marketing for home furnishings.

Price, who is based at the company's showroom/office here, succeeds Michael Marzen, general manager for home furnishings. Marzen is leaving the company Aug. 1 to join Hafner in its outerwear fabrics division. Price, a long-time textiles industry veteran, most recently was with Joan Fabrics/Main Street.

He reports to Bill Treinekins, president of DeBall New York.

Chris Stone names sales agent

LOS ANGELES — Diversified Textiles has been named sales agent for Chris Stone California for the New York territory.

"Audrey Jordan, Dale Paccione and Jim Paccione [principals of Diversified] have a tremendous background in the industry and we are delighted to have them with us," said Lew Magrish, national sales director. They succeed Jason Ionoff, who is no longer representing Chris Stone.

The Chris Stone line will be housed in the company's showroom at 267 Fifth Avenue as well as in Diversified's showroom at 303 Fifth Avenue.

Cone promotes Brodie

CLIFFSIDE, NC — Judith Brodie has been promoted to assistant vp of marketing administration at Cone Jacquards.

Formerly, she was director of administration with duties that included design coordination.
