Messe Frankfurt Inc. announces launch of Home Textiles Fabric Sourcing Expo (HTFSE) in July

Atlanta --  In response to industry feedback and "a high level of interest" from suppliers, Messe Frankfurt together with Sub-Council of Textile Industry, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, is set to launch the new Home Textiles Fabric Sourcing Expo this summer in New York.

Messe Frankfurt explained that it is tapping an opportunity in North America "for an event focused on fabric and material sourcing for home application -- linens, towels, pillows, window coverings, furniture, etc." While there are currently several shows in the U.S. market focused on home textiles, "they all revolve primarily around finished home goods for sale to retailers or are a minor offshoot of a furniture-focused event."

Messe Frankfurt hopes to fill the gap with this new event, scheduled July 13 to 15, concurrent with Texworld USA, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. The show will continue as an annual event taking place every summer alongside Texworld USA to create a larger sourcing destination for the marketplace.

Messe Frankfurt is the parent of the European Heimtextil brand. "The launch of Home Textiles Fabric Sourcing Expo is a first step towards filling this void and providing opportunities for Messe Frankfurt’s global customer base."
