Sears' Black Friday sweepstakes exclusive to Facebook users

Hoffman Estates, Ill. – Sears has launched a contest on Facebook that will award $500 gift cards as well as a chance for 25 VIP winners to shop for Black Friday specials ahead of the general public.

Through Nov. 19, consumers can register at the Sears Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/sears) for the sweepsteakes.

"Facebook is a natural way for us to reach our loyal customers and 'fans' to reward them with an exclusive opportunity and fun way to shop and take advantage of Sears Black Friday Deals," said Don Hamblen, Sears' chief marketing officer.
