High Point, N.C. – Diversified textile fabric maker LADY Fabrics Corporation has introduced the Soft Touch ecoFabrics line for upholstery, drapery, and panels – a product range that is certified by Oeko-Tex to be free from harmful levels of more than 100 substances that can be dangerous to humans.
Zurich, Switzerland-based Oeko-Tex comprises 17 independent textile research and testing institutes with offices in more than 40 countries.
"LADY Fabric's natural Soft Touch ecoFabrics are created in a certified ISO mill that is eco-conscious. We use hydro and natural gas fuel power with low fume emissions,” said Allan Lowy, Jr., president of LADY Fabrics, adding that the dyeing process is also strictly controlled, and noting, “Our wool fabrics can be recycled and are 100% biodegradable and are certified by Oeko-Tex to be safe for people and the environment."
LADY Fabrics’ Soft Touch ecoFabrics will be shown at the High Point Market October 1-7 by furniture manufacturers including Baker, Century, Hickory Chair, Lee, Ferguson Copeland, Jaymar, and Directional.
