Charles Craft builds staff with two sales positions

LAURINBURG, NC —

Kitchen textiles manufacturer Charles Craft Inc. announced today that it has promoted Doug Kivett and hired industry veteran Tracy Pickup to two new posts in the sales division.

Kivett, with the company since 2002 as key accounts manager, has been promoted to national sales manager.

Pickup has been appointed vp, sales, leading the retail kitchen sales efforts. He most recently worked for Greensboro, NC-based Guilford Mills as its new product manager — a post he held for five years.

Both report to Clifton Buie, president, Charles Craft's consumer products division.

"Both men have successful industry track records, and we look forward to them championing the efforts of the division," Buie said. "Tracy brings a wealth of sales skills to Charles Craft, and Doug has been a tremendous asset since joining our company."

Aside from kitchen textiles, Charles Craft Inc., founded in 1967, also manufacturers needlecraft fabrics and accessories, industrial yarns and fabrics, dyed yarns and high-performance flame-resistant/cut resistant yarns and fabrics.
