Faribault, Minn. —
Jeffrey Kambak has joined Faribault Mills as vp/national sales manager, a new position. He is based at his office in Dallas, and reports to Michael Harris, chairman, president and ceo of Faribault.
Kambak is responsible for all sales and marketing to retail accounts nationwide, and also is responsible for input into pricing, designs, and fibers as well as working with the design team on new trends, said Harris. He will champion the extension of the company's all-U.S.-made blankets and decorative throws.
Most recently, Kambak was vp/national sales manager for the Cannon and Royal Velvet brands at Li & Fung, and earlier was director of sales for Welspun USA. He started his career with WestPoint Pepperell in 1983.
While his experience has been in the sheet and towel categories, he was part of the team responsible for the launch of such programs as the Simply Elegant sheets at JCPenney and the Jubilee towel at Wal-Mart.
