ShopKo promotes Wurl

ShopKo Stores Inc. has promoted Douglas Wurl to ShopKo division senior vp, gmm, home, to replace Rick Ausick, who recently joined Madison, WI-based Famous Footwear.
Wurl assumes responsibility for housewares, casual furniture, school and office supplies, home accessories, linens and domestics, bath and body products and greeting cards.
Wurl joined ShopKo in May 2000 as vp, dmm of soft home categories, including linens and domestics, bath and body products, and greeting cards. No successor has been named yet.
