Big Lots appoints merchandise planning vp

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Big Lots has appointed Lisa Bachmann senior vice president of merchandise planning and allocation/information technology.

She will report to Steve Fishman, chairman, CEO, and president.

Prior to joining Big Lots, Bachmann was senior vice president of planning and allocation for Ames Department Stores.
