Architect Graves teams with Glen Eden

Partnership will work on collection of rugs

CALHOUN, GA. —

Architect Michael Graves recently partnered with floor covering company Glen Eden to produce a collection of rugs with the Wools of New Zealand brand.

The Michael Graves collection includes 18 patterns, all of which are offered in custom colors that can be matched from a sample or selected from a palette of 42 standard shades.

Glen Eden offers the rugs in any shape or size, to accommodate uses from the foyer to the stairs, the company said.

"My rug designs for Glen Eden are a spirited aesthetic exercise in scale, combined with the application of saturated colors and special tufting techniques," said Graves.

"Whether it is a large floral such as Rose or a striking geometric such as Wagner, I designed these rugs to fit comfortably in any domestic setting."

The suggested retail price point for the rugs ranges from $50 to $65 per square foot.
