Nishat Chunian to Display New Capabilities

Nishat Chunian Ltd., manufacturer of higher quality solid color sheeting, will highlight its new printing operation by showing its most extensive line of home fashions at date at Heimtextil.

The company recently installed state-of-the-art printing machinery from Reggiani as well as new laser engraving technology from Stork.

The new equipment will allow Nishat Chunian to present product “with improved print quality, clarity and consistency with pigments, ultra-soft pigments and reactive systems,” said Faiza Jabeen, director of marketing.

The company will also show bedding featuring unique finishing techniques, better fit and durability. Nishat Chunian also will showcase innovations in environmental and energy sustainable products.

Founded as a spinner in 1990, Nishat Chunian has grown into the fourth largest listed textiles company in Pakistan, producing 8.5 million pounds of yarn and more than 4.0 million yards of home fashions per month. An exporter to the U.S. and Europe, the company now plans to expand to other global markets, according to managing director Shahzad Saleem.
