HARRISON, NJ —
Table linen, kitchen textile and decorative pillow manufacturer and importer Tweel Home Fashions, based here, recently signed a licensing deal with sister companies Spode and Royal Worcester to produce lines of upscale table linens and kitchen textiles for each property.
For Tweel, the partnership represents two milestones: an added new category — anti-fatigue kitchen rugs; and also a new customer — department and upscale specialty gift stores.
The collection will be officially introduced in February at the mini-market event in New York.
Constructions for each product include the following:
-
Tablecloths: All 100 percent cotton, an available as both screen printed jacquards and printed fabric;
-
Place mats: Fabric-made to coordinate with tablecloths and hard-board varieties made of corkboard or corrugated cardboard with laminated paper design on the surface;
-
Pot holders and oven mitts: 100 percent polyester face with cotton backing;
-
Kitchen and tie towels: terry
-
Decorative pillows and chairpads: 100 percent cotton
-
Anti-fatigue kitchen mats: foam backing with a heat-transfer design.
Price points for tablecloths range from $19.99 to $29.99.
The company also recently signed a licensing partnership with pastel artist Pam Lure to create coordinated collections of table linens, kitchen textiles and decorative pillows.
It will target specialty stores. Price points include $5.99 for a place mat and $9.99 for an oven mitt.
We would love your feedback!
