Donna Karan Home debuts solid color programs

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 2/7/2006 2:41:00 PM

NEW YORK – In addition to updated fashion bedding, Donna Karan Home is debuting two new solid color programs this week during the New York Mini-Market.

Under the DKNY fashion brand, the Scattered Garden program consists of a solid color, embroidered silk quilt, shams and three dec pillows – each available in five colors. The line targets the customer who wants a quick fashion fix, but doesn’t want to go into a full set of coordinates, according to Pasty Pollack, ceo for Donna Karan Home. Retail on a queen quilt will be $199; dec pillows will retail at $89.99.

In the upper-end Donna Karan Collection line, the label has introduced The Silk Route, which consists of a silk duvet with covered cording, shams and dec pillows. The palette of six colors tilts toward ice tones, but includes plum and black. Retail on the duvet is $800.

Donna Karan Home is treating Mini-market as a full-on spring market, Pollack said. The line will show an updated bath program at the New York Home Textiles Market during April, she added.
