Chandra Rugs to show designers in new showroom

Adairsville, Ga. -- Chandra Rugs is moving into a permanent showroom at the AmericasMart in time for the upcoming Atlanta International Area Rug market next month.

At this new showroom, located in space 6-E-5, the company will show 12 tufted and four shag rug designs from noted area rug designer, Janelle Jarous Lampp, under her JanelleStyle brand. Chandra Rugs has also signed Mary Agan as its newest licensed designer and is showing nine transitional designs with her that span geometric and transitional looks in soft colorations.

Chandra Tiwari, formerly president and chairman of Surya Rugs (which he founded in 1986), established Chandra last December with his son Ravi, the company's vp of sales and marketing. Recently, Tiwari's daughter, Rekha, also joined Chandra as vp of operations.
