NEW YORK —
Nautica Home unveiled new bedding product during last week's mini-market here, including artwork for three additional beds for spring, as well as new items in several other categories.
The Nautica Home bedding line is manufactured by American Pacific Home of San Francisco.
The Varsity and Regatta ensembles both feature cotton 210-count yarn-dyed sheets and will hit retailers' shelves by late June.
Varsity is done in dark blue and gray tones with gray plaid sheets and borrows some elements from the Nautica brand clothing line. Retail price points will range from $190 for a queen-size comforter, while open stock sheets will range from a $60 price point, also for a queen.
Borrowing colors from its sponsorship of the America's Cup sailboat Stars and Stripes, Regatta features a nylon-face comforter in tones of blue and yellow, which reverses to a cotton 210-count yarn-dyed plaid. Many of the decorative pillows are also done in nylon with various details, including buckles, reminiscent of regatta racing. A coordinating shower curtain is also available. As with Varsity, retail price points will range from $60 for a queen sheet to $190 for a queen comforter.
Scheduled for previewing during spring market will be Santa Fe, a decidedly Southwestern-flavored ensemble; the menswear-inspired Avenue; and Cottage Retreat, a sun-bleached floral bouquet pattern.
For the Nautica brand bath collection, a new striped towel joins its solid color fellows in the J-Class category. The towel will be offered at a $11.99 retail price point in dove, blush, olive, indigo blue and sand. Five more fashion-oriented colors will be offered at spring market.
We would love your feedback!
