Luxury show postponed

NEW YORK —

Heimtextil Select — Luxury Textiles in New York has been postponed to March/April 2003.

The show had been planned to showcase some 60 high-end luxury exhibitors, mostly from Europe, April 16 to 17 at the Metropolitan Pavilion here.

Due to the events of Sept. 11, exhibitors, European representatives and industry partners were concerned about the state of the industry as well as the general recession in the United States, according to Roland Bleinroth, president of Messe Frankfurt Inc.
