SMYRNA, Tenn. — MSM Industries has completed a year-long, 140,000-square-foot plant expansion here.
The new addition gives MSM 240,000 square feet of manufacturing and distribution space. MSM, a producer of non-slip rug pads, also produces a compete line of PVC and natural rubber-coated products. The company also wholesales a line of decorative adhesive and non-adhesive shelf liners, as well as mats for kitchen and bath.
Reza Aliabadi, MSM owner and president, said, "Our trusted trade sources estimate that out of every 10 area rugs sold at retail last year, seven of them left the retailer's showroom without a rug pad. If true, then the opportunity for pad sales growth is astronomical, and we are now poised to capture our fair share of what appears to be a potentially explosive market opportunity."
We would love your feedback!
