Tinsley Fund event aids scholarships

Paoli, Pa. – Thanks in part to donations from home textiles vendors, The Crossroads School here raised $9,000 at a charity event dedicated to Shirley Tinsley, late wife of industry sales veteran Rusty Tinsley.
Tinsley, who died in an automobile accident in 2003, had been a secretary at the school. The Shirley Tinsley Scholarship Fund holds the fundraiser annually.
Home textiles suppliers donated comforters, towels and curtains for a re-gifting table at the fundraiser. The event also included guest appearances by local CBS and Fox News anchors as well as a basketball clinic featuring former Villanova standout Jason Fraser.
