Mineola, N.Y. – Forty years ago, John Ziozis started Linon Home Décor Products Inc. as an importer of Greek flokati rugs. He soon expanded into other related product categories, including finished and ready-to-assemble furniture pieces.
In celebration of its four decades in the business, the company is hosting a Greek party at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 19, during the upcoming High Point Market, at the company’s newly expanded showroom in space 202 at the High Point Furniture Market, 220 S. Elm St.
In honor of the event, Linon is also hosting a guest speaker -- Derick Belden, senior editor of Southern Living Magazine. Linon is the Time Inc.-owned publication’ licensee for soft floor coverings.
Linon recently redesigned and expanded its showroom to 11,000 square feet.
During market, the company will be showing several new styles in their various collections, and will be distributing its new 2010 catalog.
New rug introductions include: 30 new designs being added to the Trio collection; 10 new transitional and contemporary designs in a high Nepalese knot count and made of 100% New Zealand worsted wool; cow hides and patchwork skin styles as well as faux sheepskin looks; new promotional machine-made products; and many others.
Additionally, Linon will be unveiling 10 new rugs to its licensed collection Southern Living Home, by Southern Living magazine.
We would love your feedback!
