Fingerhut appoints new head of catalog

Minneapolis — Fingerhut Companies today announced that Steven Lightman has been promoted to the position of executive vp, catalog, overseeing the core and subsidiary catalog business. He succeeds Dick Tate, former president of catalog, who retired in May.
Lightman was president of the Arizona Mail Order, which Fingerhut purchased in 1998. He now will work with Fingerhut president Michael Sherman to provide direction to the company's overall catalog business.
