OW Rugs Intros Five New Collections

Oriental Weavers USA Inc. is bringing five new collections plus an expanded assortment of kid-friendly “Accent-uate” scatter rugs to market.

The five new collections are: Emerson, Carlisle, Chateau, Sumner, and Mission.

The Emerson collection takes a bold black or neutral ground and gives it pop with vivid accents colors like red, pumpkin orange, bright pear green and deep turquoise for a contrasting design. Patterns are transitional and contemporary; there are also some Persian floral styles featuring updated colors. Emerson rugs are machine woven in the USA of 100% heat-set polypropylene.

Traditional patterns ranging from Persian to floral as well as more trend-forward transitional styles make up the new Carlisle collection. It uses a traditional palette of neutral beige, gold and warm brown paired with modern colors like fresh greens, slate blue and spicy cinnabar red. This collection is machine woven in Egypt of 100% heat-set polypropylene.

The Chateau collection was designed to appeal to broad consumer tastes. The patterns range from basic traditional to transitional and contemporary, and the palette includes a cool gray-blue, brown, black, warm neutrals and a vibrant red. Chateau rugs are machine woven in Egypt of 100% polypropylene.

Patterns span whimsical florals, novelty, farm themes and fruits through transitional and classic contemporary looks in the Sumner collection. Printed in Egypt of 100% nylon, these rugs achieve texture via a variety of constructions that include looped and cut-pile with hand-carved effects. The palette is bright, consisting of plum, aqua, fresh avocado, clean slate, pumpkin orange, and warm spicy red.

The Mission Collection consists of tonal palettes in red, blue, black/gray, green, and gold in striped patterns. Mission rugs are machine tufted in a loop-pile construction and are made in Egypt of 100% polypropylene.

Turning to its scatter assortment, the company is expanding its popular “Accent-uate” program with the new JV grouping of kid-friendly rugs in youthful palettes of fresh lime, sky blue, chocolate, warm lavender, poppy, persimmon and pale pink. Patterns are made to appeal to young children through teens with its flowers, polka dots, stripes, plaids, and other juvenile motifs. These rugs are printed in Egypt of 100% nylon.
