Nautica in Welspun contract for Mexico

New York – VF Corporation division Nautica Apparel, has entered a licensing agreement with Welspun Mexico to market, distribute and sell bedding, blankets, bath towels, bath accessories, beach towels and window treatments in Mexico.
The new collection will be sold in major department and specialty stores starting with the Spring 2009 season, the companies said.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
“We are excited to be working with Welspun Mexico,” said Maria Vicari, president of global licensing, Nautica. “We currently enjoy a relationship with Welspun USA and believe that our new partnership with Welspun Mexico will further enhance our already successful Nautica Home business in Mexico as well as facilitate the further expansion of our international home furnishings business.”
