New York — —
New York — Revman International will develop bedding collections under the Havana 1515 label, through a license with Cubanita's Inc. The collection will debut at the New York Home Textiles Market in the Revman showroom.
Havana 1515 is the creation of Rita and Sara Vazquez, sisters from Cuba who bring their unique cultural heritage to the brand. Their distinctive blend of design, color, spirit, and heart has a powerful resonance with the Latin consumer, but also appeals to everyone who loves tropical whimsy and a fusion of old world and new.
Havana 1515 was first established in 1997 as a luxury home accessories collection and sold in high-end specialty stores and catalogues. In partnering with Revman, the brand will now be expanded to a wider audience.
Revman president and ceo Richard Roman said, “Havana 1515 represents a unique lifestyle statement that is very different from our other brands and adds a new dimension to our product offerings.”
Four ensembles will be shown during market week: Ocean Drive, Vizcaya, Hojas, and Cha-Cha-Cha & Mambo, all enlivened by vibrant color schemes, exciting patterns, and distinctive embellishments.
The Vazquez sisters describe their style as “Cuban classicism with a modern attitude that is fresh, lively, personal, and timeless,” a fusion of global inspirations and Caribbean flair that is the essence of their native land.
We would love your feedback!
