Honeywell offers new yarn options

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 7/19/2004 12:00:00 AM

Honeywell Nylon is offering two new yarn options in which bath rugs made with Anso Soft nylon fiber can achieve greater coloration and styling effects, stated the company.

Using a three-level dye process — called the Monet color process — bath rugs can be developed in combination of light, medium and deep shades to create effects of softness, texture and depth. In addition, a new "sparkle" yarn is also available and can be used in combination with the Monet color process or as a stand-alone effect, stated Honeywell Nylon.

According to Annette Callari, Honeywell Nylon merchandising specialist/designer and a member of the Color Marketing Group, these new options directly meet the color and styling needs of consumers. "Consumers are looking for upbeat, optimistic colors, as well as restful hues to create comfortable, but memorable interiors," she said. "This is the color direction for the coming year and the fresh effects the sparkle yarn and Monet color process options can create."
