By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 12/8/2008 12:00:00 AM

Sears Holdings made three executive appointments that interim ceo Bruce Johnson said will help make the company's business "more entrepreneurial, more effective and more profitable."

Nick Coe will join as svp and president of Lands' End. His 25 years in merchandising and marketing most recently saw him at Banana Republic, where he was svp merchandising and interim head of design. Earlier he spent 19 years with various divisions of Levi Strauss & Co., most recently as vp merchandising, North America for men's and boy's.

Former Lehman Brothers executive Scott Freidheim will join Sears Holdings as evp for Operating and Support Businesses. He will also become a board member of the internal holding company business unit. Freidheim spent 17 years at Lehman, most recently as chief administrative officer and evp.

Mark de Bruin has been hired as svp and president for Pharmacy. He was most recently with Rite Aid Corporation and before that was a vp at Albertson's in the pharmacy division.
