FIT Veteran Pratt Retiring in May

Christine Pratt, chairperson of the Home Products Development Department at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), has announced her retirement effective May 2005. She has been on the FIT faculty since 1974.
“Christine was instrumental in incorporating major industry trends into the curriculum for our successful Home Products program, launched in 1997,” said Dario Cortes, vice president for Academic Affairs. “Her enormous contribution to the department and to the college has been invaluable.”
