Maddalene returns to WestPoint

New York – WestPoint Home has named Scott Maddalene the new senior vp Ralph Lauren/marketing, effective March 31. He will report to WestPoint ceo Joe Pennacchio.
Maddalene was most recently senior vp sales for the U.S. home division of international trading house Li & Fung. There he was responsible for the placement and sales of national brands, such as Cannon and Royal Velvet, niche brands, such as Clodagh and Angela Adams, and private label brands, such as George for Wal-Mart Canada.
Prior to Li and Fung, Maddalene was with WestPoint Home, WestPoint Stevens and JP Stevens for over 25 years. He held a wide variety of senior management positions, including vice president sales for the eastern region, managing director of WestPoint Stevens (Europe) Ltd., vp merchandising Ralph Lauren division, and vp merchandising for both the bed and bath area. He began his textiles career at Wamsutta.
Reporting to Maddalene will be Glenda Guerri, vp business development for Ralph Lauren; Laurie O'Grady, vp product development Ralph Lauren; and Nancy Golden, vp marketing and brand management
