SAN FRANCISCO —
Sue Fisher King, the luxury home retailer based here and named after its owner, will be expanding its store in the Presidio Heights neighborhood, moving its bed linens to an adjacent location.
"It's a little-bitty space," King said of the 650-square-foot space, approximately half of the original location. But it will be enough, as she will be able to display more categories and product than ever before.
At 3061 Sacramento Road, the new location also has a mezzanine level, and plenty of opportunities.
"We have great categories, but they were hard to show in the one location," King said.
Towels, tabletop, toiletries, throws, small furniture pieces and leather goods will remain in the original location, though now there will be more room for displays and stock.
For example, "We do very well with bath accessories, but there was no space before," said King, who has another location in the Union Square district here.
The new location will focus on top-of-the-bed and sheets, which include products from Anichini, Sferra and Etro, and there will be more room for display beds and chaises, in addition to other product categories.
"We do great business with designer products," she said. "And now we will have space for samples without having the customers on top of one another."
The new space will probably have the same name, she said.
We would love your feedback!
