Van Nuys, Calif. —
Longtime home textiles industry executive Dale Talbert has left Veratex, where he was vp sales. He has been succeeded by Debbie Sager, vp marketing, who adds the vp sales responsibilities.
"It was a great run," Talbert commented referring to his 10 and a half years with the company. Earlier, Talbert was a longtime executive with Croscill. He will make his plans known.
Sager, who continues to report to Avi Cohen, Veratex principal, joined the company in July from Keeco. With her new assignment, Sager plans "to formulate structure to the line, including price points and lifestyle. Avi is so passionate about product. We will be using marketing information to identify product needs," a reflection of her experience with Keeco.
Before Keeco, she held a marketing position with Barth & Dreyfuss, and earlier spent half of her business career in retail at Mervyns.
