Cuvio, Italy – Alberto Mascioni has stepped down as chairman of the 52-year-old fabric printing and bedding manufacturing company, effective yesterday.
His brother, Carlo Mascioni, is the new ceo. Previously, he had been co-ceo.
In a letter to colleagues and clients, Mascioni wrote about the company’s achievements as well as “the relationships of sincere respect and deep friendship that I have been fortunate enough to enjoy over the years with the truly outstanding people that I have encountered both in Italy and worldwide.”
Last summer, Zucchi Group signed an agreement to buy 50% of the company shareholdings from the Mascioni family. That acquisition added to the majority stake that Zucchi had purchased in 1988.
We would love your feedback!
