American Silk Mills creates new design position

New York — Cythnia Clark Douthit has been named vp, design, a new position, for American Silk Mills here.

Douthit, who most recently was a consultant to American Silk and other companies, reports to John Sullivan, president. Prior to becoming a consultant, Douthit was with Valdese Weavers and has had extensive experience in the high end decorative fabrics market.
