FORT MILL, SC -Springs Industries has acquired a mill from Maybank Textile Corp.
The plant, located in Cartersville, GA, on Erwin Street, manufactures yarn and will be used to support Springs' extensive bath rug business. It will be referred to as the Springs Cartersville Plant.

"This acquisition is a strategic step in vertical integration to ensure quality products to our customers and consumers. We are very pleased to welcome the highly trained and professional work force of the Cartersville plant to the Springs family and look forward to continuing to develop an even stronger bath rug business."
