Lewis made prez at Aussino USA

NEW YORK —
Effective today, Aussino USA evp Steve Lewis has been named president by Aussino Group Ltd. chairman Anthony Lim, who is based at company headquarters in China and Singapore.
"My goals are to continue to grow and position the business for 2005, when quotas are [lifted] from Chinese imports," said Lewis. "We're still offering the customer high-end looks at popular price points and will continue to span the market for new and unique looks to offer our customers the ability to enhance their product assortments."
Lewis, who has headed Aussino's U.S. division for the past two and a half years, previously worked for Barkat Inc. for three years as vp sales. Prior to that, he served as sales manager for now-defunct manufacturer Barclay Home Products for 12 years.
