Pizzella gets added responsibilities at Sears

Hoffman Estates, IL — Barbara Pizzella has added bed, bath, window coverings and mattresses to her current duties as vp, gmm for area rugs, home accents and housewares at Sears.
With her added responsibilities, she succeeds Mark Grand who retired from the company in July as vp, gmm for bed, bath, window and mattresses and RTA furniture.
Ty Nicosia, former divisional merchandise manager for mattresses, has been named to strategic conversion, a new position. A new divisional merchandise manager will be named soon to head area rugs, mattresses and home accents.
Mark Mettler remains dmm for bed and bath; Richard Recklaus is dmm for housewares.
In March, Pizzella was named vp, gmm for area rugs, home accents and housewares. Earlier she was senior director of strategic planning for softlines. She reports to Leslie Mann, senior vp.
