Ellery hires Wilson for accounts

NEW YORK —

Brian Wilson has been named vice president of sales for Ellery Homestyles, LLC.

Wilson, who has been in the soft window coverings business for over 25 years, will work with select key accounts for Ellery Homestyles and be based at 295 Fifth Ave.

Wilson got his start with Bruno Hofmann's Interknitting Company. His first sales job came in 1985, and five years later he became president of the newly named Hofmann Laces where he managed key accounts.

Wilson stayed with the company after it was sold to Guilford Mills in 1996 where he remained as president until 2000. Subsequently, he worked with overseas manufacturers in Pakistan and Turkey serving the U.S. market.
