WestPoint Home names Icahn Enterprises exec Skobe cfo

New York -- WestPoint Home announced today that Andrew Skobe has joined the company as its new cfo, effective immediately. He succeeds interim cfo Nelson Griffith, who is now WestPoint’s controller.
Skobe brings to WestPoint close to 20 years of experience in financial management.
Most recently, he was the interim cfo, interim chief accounting officer and treasurer of Icahn Enterprises, which owns WestPoint. Prior to that time, he was vp and treasurer for the Columbia House Company, a direct marketer of video and music entertainment products. A former cfo and director of Raging Knowledge, a privately held software company, Skobe has also held senior financial positions at Parson Consulting, the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, Marvel Entertainment Group, General Motors, and Manufacturers Hanover.
He reports to John Piazza, president and ceo of WestPoint Home.
