HSN Taps Bradley for Ecommerce

St. Petersburg, Fla. —
Television and online retailer HSN, or Home Shopping Network, has named Brian Bradley evp of its HSN.com business and advanced services, reporting to Mindy Grossman, ceo.
Since HSN re-launched its ecommerce site in 2007, HSN.com has posted eight consecutive quarters of sales growth, the company said, and now accounts for 28% of HSN's total sales.
In his new role, Bradley will develop and guiding the strategic direction and operations of HSN.com. He oversees all components of the web business, including merchandising, marketing, sales, content and technology, enhancing customer experience and acquiring new customers.
Additionally, Bradley manages the advanced services unit, which develops new distribution services for HSN, including Shop by Remote, broadband applications and video-on-demand.
Grossman noted, "HSN.com is a powerful channel for our cross-over TV customers and a point of entry for new customers." She cited Bradley's track record of "building and managing successful ecommerce businesses."
Bradley spent the past four years with Circuit City, most recently as svp, multi-channel, in charge of the website, call center and catalog channels.
Prior to that, Bradley was director of strategy and implementation for Capital One Financial Corporation, where he worked starting in 2002.
