Barbara Barry Speaks Softly

Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 3/23/2009 12:00:00 AM

Barbara Barry introduced two new bedding collections, while expanding color offers in towels and her Dream silk quilt by her licensee DWI Holdings.

Both beds are softly colored in tone-on-tone print renditions. Adrift is a subtle print on 300 count cotton sateen; Fern Hill has soft tones of green and blue on a 300 count cotton sateen.

Adrift is $280 for the queen duvet, $80 for the queen sheet; Fern Hill's embroidered sheet is 500 count sateen at $100 queen.

New colors for Dream, the Barbara Barry signature quilt, are mocha and mist. Honey and mist are the new colors for towels, with a total of eight in the palette.

Soon to launch in the Barbara Barry collection is a range of high end decorative pillows fashioned from fabrics she has selected from Mulberry House, the upscale fabrics supplier division of Himatsingka Linens, also parent of DWI Holdings, said Tom DeBari, national sales manager.
