New York — Beach, golf and spa towel resource Hilasal USA has seen its fiber reactive beach towel business grow in popularity recently, and this month's market didn't break that emerging trend.
Larry Price, director of U.S. sales, said that in 2007, “We had our first positive trend in sales in fiber reactives in seven years. This year is looking better than last year already, and for 2009 our bookings are looking better than this year.”
On the flip side, jacquard varieties in beach towels are “becoming a commodity,” hitting low price points at many stores, he said.
The best selling fiber reactive designs for Hilasal are from the company's Friends collection of animal group images.
We would love your feedback!
