Anchor selects industry veteran Klenert as president

Wyckoff, N.J. -- Anchor Home Products has appointed industry veteran Thomas Klenert president. Frank Petronzio, who founded the company in 1978, has acted as ceo, chairman and president since the beginning. But with the recent growth the company is experiencing, he opted to bring Klenert on board "to work alongside me" in continuing to build the company.

Klenert was president of Bess Manufacturing for 20 years until he retired in December 2004. "It’s nice to be back and see a lot of my old friends and customers in the industry," he told HTT. "Anchor Home Products has one of the largest potentials in the kitchen textiles, table linens and window coverings categories."
