Ichiba joins Off-Price Show, touts Retail Summit

Las Vegas – The Off-Price Specialist Show has named Julie Ichiba executive show director, giving her just enough time to take command of the next edition of the show, Feb. 10-14, 2008.

A 21-year veteran of the trade show industry, Ichiba will lead the Off-Price group on all products and services, and she will help launch the new Off-Price Retail Summit & Expo taking place May 5-7 at the South Point Casino, Hotel & Spa in Las Vegas.

“The Off-Price Show is first and foremost an order-writing marketplace, so the networking and sharing of ideas often times takes a back seat at our February and August shows,” said Ichiba. “The May event is the perfect venue for these critical industry functions to take place, especially in a more intimate resort setting with a smaller mid-season show.”

Ichiba has previously worked with Smith, Bucklin & Associates, Reed Exhibitions, Advanstar and VNU Expositions.
