Natco to buy Windham Weavers

West Warwick, R.I. – Today flooring and home textiles supplier Natco Home agreed to acquire of tabletop, pillow, and accent rug producer Windham Weavers.
“We are delighted to add Windham Weavers to the Natco Home group of companies,” said Michael Litner, Natco Home ceo. “Richard Russo and his Windham team will add a new dimension to our existing tabletop, pillow, and accent rug divisions.”
Russo, president of Ridgefield, Conn.-based Windham Weavers, “will become the president of our to be combined tabletop and pillow divisions,” added Litner.
“This transaction, first and foremost, adds depth and breadth to our senior management, product development, creative, and marketing team within Natco Home,” continued Litner. “Secondly, it brings a host of new and exciting products to the group. The transaction is expected to close in October 2008.”
During market week, Natco is showing on the third floor of 295 Fifth Ave.
