Shanghai textiles show to shift in 2004

Shanghai — Intertextile Shanghai will spin off the home textiles segment into its own free-standing trade show next year to better reflect the global buying cycle, according to Messe Frankfurt, which organizes the fair.
The home portion of the show, which encompasses fabrics and finished product, will take place Sept. 1 to 3 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The apparel portion of the show will retain its current timing in late October and will take place Oct. 27 to 29, also at the Expo Centre.
