Waples to head retail sales at AbsolutelyNew

San Francisco – Consumer goods company AbsolutelyNew Inc., which helps inventors turn their ideas into products, has appointed Greg Waples vp of retail sales.

Most recently, Waples was svp of global sales for Jarden Corp.’s leisure and entertainment division. At the $6 billion publicly traded company, which owns several brands like Sunbeam and First Alert, he was responsible for leading worldwide sales for Jarden’s Bee and Bicycle playing cards brands and numerous art and crafts product brands.

In his new stint, Waples works remotely from Memphis, Tenn. He reports to evp Bill Feroe.
